Awesome game! Minor gripes I have so far is that if you die you restart the level with the amount of health you started it with. However, hasn't prevented me from progressing so far. And in the "Bigger and Boulder" level I had a stutter which made me drop in the pit with lava because I missed the elevator.

I hope the game autosaves, because I want to stop :-)

Edit: It does autosave, nice!

Thanks so much for playing. Yes, Rock Pit saves at the end of each level and uses storage in your browser. So glad you like it. I have to admit I didn't test the HTML version extensively. It might be a tad resource heavy to play in the browser, so you might be better off playing one of the downloadable versions. That probably gets rid of any stuttering.

Yeah, perhaps that's better indeed, the downloaded version. It's just more of a hassle when I'm casually playing some games on Itch :-) But great effort nonetheless, you got some solid mechanics going on!

Finished it! Nice. Sometimes hits don't decrease health btw I noticed. At least with the last boss, 1st stage, I did not have any health decrease from being hit by the boss itself. Happened before as well, might be with the first boss, not sure anymore.

Congrats on finishing the game! :))) Yeah, there might be some minor glitches here and there. Fortunately no real show stoppers as far as I've seen ;) Cheers!
